Your beta workspace
This is an early research tool. Sources can be incomplete, stale or unavailable. It does not guarantee demand, revenue or business results.
What is saved
Your app records, evidence, imported data and source observations are stored online in Cloudflare D1. Your browser holds an essential session cookie; the database stores a hash of the session token. Each workspace is separate. Do not upload secrets, credentials or sensitive personal records.
Accounts and private projects
Optional email accounts use Google Firebase Authentication. Your browser sends your email and password directly to Google; AppScout does not store your password. We verify your identity token and email verification before linking private projects to your account. AppScout stores your account identifier, email, project content and access dates in Cloudflare D1. Signing out ends this browser session without deleting account projects.
Access and recovery
You may try an anonymous workspace without email. Its cookie is the only access method: clearing it loses access unless you have linked the research to an account. Anonymous workspaces expire after 30 days. Signed-in projects remain saved when the session expires; sign in again to reopen them. Firebase provides email verification and password recovery. Export backups to keep your own copy of research.
Deletion
For an anonymous workspace, use “Delete workspace” in the footer. For an account project, open Account & projects, choose Delete and confirm its exact name. Deleting a project removes its research; it does not delete your Firebase sign-in identity. Existing downloads and Cloudflare’s backup or operational retention are separate from the active database.
Source requests and limits
When you run a source connector, the relevant query or app identifier is sent to that source from our server. Providers receive the request and apply their own policies. Daily quotas limit sessions and source requests; when a limit is reached, the feature stops rather than purchasing more capacity. AI services and paid data are not included in this initial cloud beta.
Usage measurement
The beta may record successful action counts and access dates to measure whether it is useful. Your source requests and saved research are already part of your workspace. Network identifiers may be processed for abuse limits; there are no advertising trackers in this version. Cloudflare also processes traffic to provide hosting and security.
