ABOUT APPSCOUT
Research you can trace back to a source.
AppScout is a free public beta for independent app developers and small product teams. It helps you find competing apps, collect public reviews and pricing, save evidence and compare alternatives.
What is available
- Public app discovery and detail lookup, with source links and observation dates.
- Review and pricing research, saved evidence and comparisons.
- Guided research, downloadable backups and evidence exports.
- Optional email accounts and private saved projects.
How we handle evidence
We distinguish what a source reports from a researcher’s interpretation. Public store rankings are positions, not download totals. A Google Play install label is a cumulative lower threshold, not monthly installs. A rating count is not a count of customers. Missing values stay missing.
Every source can be incomplete or change. Public pages can omit subscription billing periods, trials and regional offers. Review samples do not represent all customers. Revenue claims need a stated company, period and accounting basis before they can support a decision.
Current limits
The hosted beta does not provide AI analysis or automatic background monitoring. It does not include proprietary revenue estimates, comprehensive download estimates or paid keyword search-volume data. Daily source-request limits apply. AppScout does not guarantee business results.
Who is behind it
AppScout is a project from Let’s Make It!, the independent product-building account @Deforum040293. This is an early beta, not a claim of an established analytics company or independent certification.
Corrections and support
For a misleading description, broken source or product issue, contact Let’s Make It! on X. Include the page and what went wrong. Do not send passwords or private research in a public post.
Privacy
Public guides contain no user research. Saved research requires its workspace session or account access. Firebase handles email sign-in; Cloudflare hosts the app and saved projects. See the privacy and retention details.
